Welcome to LiveDash®! This guide walks you through the initial setup process to get your agency configured and ready to go.
You will receive an email from your LiveDash® representative with your login credentials, including your dashboard URL, email, and a temporary password.

The wizard includes 5 steps, 4 of which are required before you can access the full dashboard.
Set up your agency's core information:
This information will be used throughout the LiveDash® system.
Upload your agency's visual identity:
Your branding will appear across the platform, including on display devices.
Add your station locations:
Stations determine the starting point for route calculations on calls and which traffic cameras display (if available in your state).
Configure your agency's shift schedule:
Choose Schedule Type – If your schedule type isn't listed, email support@livedash.io with your schedule details. Select "No Shift Schedule" to continue for now.
Set Shift Rotation Time – When shifts change over
Create Your Shifts – Click "Add Shift" for each shift. Defaults are A (red), B (blue), C (green).
Set Rotation Start Date – This aligns your current rotation with LiveDash®
Build Rotation Sequence – Complete one full shift rotation
Tip: Pick a date that starts a fresh rotation. For example, if today is A2 on a 48/96 schedule, you'd pick: A2 → B1 → B2 → C1 → C2 → A1.
LiveDash® uses Active911 to receive dispatch calls. Once connected, incoming calls will automatically appear on your TV devices and dashboard. Active911 is currently the only supported dispatch provider.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect Active911:
Tip: You'll need Active911 admin access to complete this step. If you don't have it handy, you can skip and set this up later under Agency Settings > Integrations.

Other integrations like roster and calendar can be configured after onboarding under Agency Settings > Integrations.
Track your progress with the Setup Progress bar and Setup Checklist:
Once all required steps are complete, click "Complete Setup & Get Started" to access your dashboard.
