Connect LiveDash® to your Active911 account to receive emergency dispatch calls in real-time on your dashboard and TV devices.
Before setting up the integration, you need:
- An Active911 agency account with administrator access
- Administrator access to LiveDash®
- Log in to your LiveDash® dashboard
- Go to Administration > Agency > Integrations
- Find Active911 in the integrations list
- Click Generate URL
- Copy the generated webhook URL
Your webhook URL will look like:
https://[your-agency-name].livedash.io/...
Keep this URL private - it's unique to your agency.
- Go to Active911.com and log in as an administrator
- Click the Agency tab in the left sidebar
- Scroll down to the Integrations section at the bottom of the page
- Click Add New Integration
- For Service, select Other
- Fill in the following fields:
| Field |
Value |
| Name |
LiveDash |
| URL |
Paste the webhook URL you copied from LiveDash® |
- Click Add to save the integration
Important: The integration is not fully active until LiveDash® receives its first call from Active911.
- Have dispatch send a test call through Active911
- Wait for the call to appear in your LiveDash® dashboard
- Once received, the integration is verified and active
Note: If no call is received in the LiveDash® database, the integration cannot be completed. Make sure to send a test call to finish the setup.
Once the integration is active:
- Dispatch calls from Active911 will automatically appear in LiveDash®
- Calls display on your dashboard in the Dashboard Home section
- TV devices configured for paging will show incoming calls
- Call notifications appear in the notification bell
To confirm everything is working:
- Check that test calls appear in your LiveDash® dashboard
- Verify TV devices display calls (if paging is enabled)
- Confirm notifications appear in the notification bell
- Verify the webhook URL is entered correctly in Active911
- Check that the integration is enabled (not paused) in Active911
- Regenerate the webhook URL in LiveDash® and update it in Active911
- Some delay (a few seconds) is normal
- Significant delays may indicate network issues
- Check Active911's integration status for errors
