This guide walks you through creating, editing, and managing playlists in LiveDash®.
You'll see:
Step 1: Open the Create Dialog
Click the New Playlist button. A dialog opens with two columns:
Step 2: Enter Playlist Details
Fill in the basic information:

| Playlist Name | A descriptive name (e.g., "Station 1 Daily") |
| Description | Optional explanation of the playlist's purpose |
| Default Page Duration | How long each page displays (15-3600 seconds) |
| Active | Toggle on to make the playlist available for assignment |
Step 3: Add Pages
Click on page chips in the Available Pages section to add them to your playlist. Pages appear in the Playlist Order list on the right.
Step 4: Arrange Pages
Drag pages using the grip handle to reorder them. The order determines how they rotate on screens.
Step 5: Set Page Durations
Each page uses the default duration unless you override it:
Step 6: Save
Click Create Playlist to save. The playlist appears in your list and is ready to assign to groups.

Note: You cannot delete a playlist that is:
Remove assignments first, then delete.

Adjust based on how much information each page contains and how quickly viewers need to read it.
After creating or editing a playlist, you must deploy for devices to show the updates:
Changes don't affect devices until deployed.
