LiveDash Anywhere lets you view your agency's data on your own devices — your work computer, a second monitor at your desk, or a tablet you keep nearby. You build a playlist of the pages you want to see, then play them on rotation under your own account. You can also open any single page on its own for quick reference.
Note: LiveDash Anywhere is meant for your personal screens. Shared TVs like the day room display or apparatus bay screens are powered by dedicated LiveDash devices, which are managed separately by your administrator.
This feature must be enabled by your agency administrator. If you don't see it in the sidebar, contact your administrator.
Log in to your dashboard. In the left sidebar, click LiveDash Anywhere. This takes you to a hub that has everything you need in one place: your current playlist, all the pages you can show, and your saved playlists.
The hub has three sections, top to bottom:
When you have an active playlist, the hero at the top of the hub shows:
Click Start playlist and your pages begin rotating in the order you set them. Each page shows for the duration you chose, then moves to the next one automatically.
To stop, use the in-page Start/Stop control on the playlist screen, or hit the browser back button.
Click Copy link in the hero to copy a direct URL to your active playlist. Save it as a browser bookmark, pin it as a tab, or send it to yourself in an email — opening that URL goes straight to the playlist and starts the rotation automatically.
This is the easiest way to set up a second monitor at your desk or an always-on tablet you keep with you. Bookmark once, click anytime.
If you have more than one saved playlist, the active playlist name in the hero is clickable — a small arrow appears next to it. Click the name to open a menu of all your playlists, then pick the one you want to make active. The hero updates immediately and the Copy link button now copies a link to your new active playlist.
You can also set a playlist as active from the My playlists section: click the menu (⋮) on any playlist card and choose Set as default.
Sometimes you just want to look at one page right now — the weather, the roster, the maintenance list. You don't need a playlist for that.
In the Browse pages section, click any page card. It opens that page on its own in full screen. No rotation, no timer — just the page. Hit the browser back button to return to the hub.
This is great for:
Pages are grouped into:
You can bookmark a single-page URL the same way you bookmark a playlist — copy the address bar, save it, and clicking the bookmark always opens that one page.
In the My playlists section, click + New playlist. A pop-up window opens with everything you need to build it.
If something's missing, a small yellow hint appears next to Save telling you exactly what's needed. The Playlist name field also turns yellow if you've picked pages but skipped naming it.
The pop-up closes and you see a confirmation in the top right. If this is your first playlist, it automatically becomes your active playlist so you can start it right away. Otherwise, your current active playlist stays untouched unless you turned on Make this my active playlist.
Click the menu (⋮) on a playlist card in the My playlists section, then choose Edit. The edit window lets you:
Click Save to keep the changes.
From the same menu (⋮) on a playlist card, choose Delete to permanently remove the playlist. If it was your active one, the hero will show a friendly empty state until you pick or build another.
If your agency uses LiveDash for dispatch alerts, your playlist can pause to show an incoming call, then resume automatically.
When you create your first playlist, the pop-up includes a Interrupt playlist for dispatch calls toggle and a Show each call for picker. This sets your preference once.
Once your first playlist is saved, the toggle no longer appears in the create pop-up — it's a personal setting, not a per-playlist one. To change it later:
The setting applies to whichever playlist you're playing — switching playlists doesn't change it.
You control timing two ways:
The hero shows your active playlist's total length so you know roughly how often the rotation completes.
Always-on monitor at your desk
Bookmark your active playlist URL. Open the bookmark each morning. The playlist starts automatically and pauses for any incoming dispatch calls.
Quick reference on a tablet
Skip the playlist altogether. Open the hub and click the page you want — weather, roster, fleet — and it shows full-screen until you hit back.
A second monitor of your own
Drag a browser tab onto a second monitor and open your bookmarked URL. The playlist runs alongside whatever you're working on.
Different rotations for different days
Build separate playlists ("Daily View" / "Quiet Mode") and switch between them from the hero. The Copy link button always reflects your active playlist.
LiveDash Anywhere is available to all dashboard user roles (Administrator, Editor, Viewer) once your agency administrator enables it. Each user has their own playlists — yours don't show up for anyone else, and theirs don't show up for you.
